Strategic Planning Process 2022-2027

Why Plan?
Strategic Planning creates an organization-wide mission that directs, motivates and inspires all members of the educational community to work together for the common good. The process will allow the Mountain Lakes Board of Education and administration to become more strategic managers of our resources and help the district to address changes in our school community.
Specifically, the Strategic Planning process will answer three big questions:
- Where are we today?
- Where do we want to be in the future?
- What should we be focused on today in order to get where we want to be tomorrow?
Planning Sessions
We welcome MLSD parents, students, staff members, administrators, and community members (non-parent or MLSD employees) to attend our Strategic Planning sessions. Three separate sessions are planned over the next three months. These sessions will include both large and small group discussions revolving around identifying strengths/challenges, a vision of the future and, finally, goals and objectives.
Here are the details for the upcoming Strategic Planning sessions:

Location: Mountain Lakes High School Auxiliary Gym
Time: All Strategic Planning sessions will take place from 7:00pm – 9:00pm
